Sew Cool.

Over the weekend I participated in a tap dance festival called Third Coast Rhythm Project (TCRP). It was a phenomenal experience as always. Classes were taught by Dianne Walker,  Max Pollak, Acia Gray, Jay Fagan, Nicole Hockenberry, Lisa La Touche, Barbara Phillips, Germaine Salsberg, Tasha Lawson, and percussionist Aaron Guidry. The classes were intense and completely amazing. It is always a blessing to share your passion with teachers and dancers who share that same passion.

While I was there I noticed some of the dancer's shoe bags. The bag holds your tap shoes in individual bags held together by a string. The dancers had purchased them prior at a tap festival about 5 or more years ago. Well I decided to put my own flare to it. Instead of the plain color I showed a little of personality when I made my own.

I lined the inside with hot pink material even though you can't see it. I plan on making and posting more :)

Just Another Creation.

I made 2 more pages to be hung somewhere. They are both a tad bit cheesy, I think all in all turned out pretty good.

Let me know what you think.

More Art

Pastel

Erased charcoal drawing.

3 hr drawing in pastels and charcoal.

Art Work

I just finished at the end of June my summer semester. It was 6 weeks of art and math class. Over the 6 weeks in art we did about 15-20 different drawings. We worked with different objects to draw and different utensils. We used charcoal, pastels, pencils and erasers. We even had a chance to draw a nude model. 4th day of art class and the teacher has us draw a nude model... it was quite interesting.

Here is one pastel drawing I did. I will add more as I take pictures of them.

more to come soon...

Scrapbooking

Well it's been quite a while since my last post, but time to get back into it. My mom is a scrapbook junky and loves to make and create new things. She does scrapbooks, cards pretty much anything. The past couple of Wednesdays has been "scrap-booking day"

Here are a couple of things I came up with.

These are from the past 2 weeks.

Every Wednesday I will post a new creation.
